Spring/Summer Information Document

High School, Youth Associations, Teams, Individual Players video review

By and large most high school or youth associations receive the same amount of ice. So as a team or player you need an edge to get a step on your competition. One way to gain that edge is through video review! 

How does this work? 

Video: Most rinks have Live Barn, which we can pull video from and if Live Barn is not an option, we may be able to attend a game in person if practical. On many occasions, we have also obtained team videos that were recorded by a parent or association.  

Association, Team, Player: We personally meet with the client and discover what is important to you and what your goal is after we provide you with the video review. Some examples may be, offensive zone entries, defensive positioning, breakouts, faceoffs, where are your shots generated from, getting pucks off the wall, power play, penalty kill, ect…

Upon analyzing a particular game(s), we then provide the client with a three-step process of easy-to-understand adjustments, which we call: Technical-Tactical-Transferable. We identify the problem then make recommendations to solve the solution, and then it will transfer over into the game. 

What age or level should video be introduced? If done correctly, video can be done at the 10U level and should be done at the 12U all the way to the pros. The review should be age appropriate as far as realistic expectations of the team, player and time limits of the review.  

How much does this cost? 

Associations…Let's talk! 

Teams/Players…This will be based on the number of games, what are we analyzing, will there be in-person meetings, phone/zoom reviews, assisting at a practice, etc.….

There is a cap on the amount of film we can review, as we have a small team reviewing film and in order to get this out in a timely fashion, we must put a limit on how many organizations, teams, or players we take on.

We also offer organizations, teams, and players Hockey IQ classes, which are a huge hit. We are offering discounts on these classes if you sign up for the video review.

Hockey IQ classes: These can be scheduled at anytime

This may be the most critical portion of your game. Tribe does individual or Team Hockey IQ classes.
